Đại học Birmingham nằm ở Birmingham, Anh, được thành lập vào năm 1900, từ đó đến nay luôn dẫn đầu về nghiên cứu và đào tạo trong các lĩnh vực Cấu trúc Gen, Y học, Nghiên cứu Không gian và Thông tin Liên lạc. Birmingham là trường đại học đầu tiên đạt được sự tài trợ và huy hiệu dành cho các trường Đại học. Trường hiện có hơn 26.000 sinh viên đến từ Vương quốc Anh và trên toàn thế giới. Birmingham hiện điều hành 2 cơ sở học: Edgbaston và Selly Oak. Các phòng ban bao gồm một loạt các ngành học và được phân thành 8 phân khu. Bao gồm nghệ thuật, Ngôn ngữ, Văn học và Lịch sử; Kinh doanh; Giáo dục; Kỹ thuật; Pháp luật; Y khoa, Nha khoa và Khoa học sức khỏe; Khoa học; Khoa học xã hội, Chính phủ và Chính trị.

Coming to Birmingham to study might be your first time living away from home. The student accommodation will allow you to enjoy your new-found independence in safe, welcoming and sociable surroundings. In each village there is accommodation offering a self-catered option. At the Vale students are also able to take advantage of the Meal Plan. If you opt for Meal Plan accommodation, you will have a weekly allowance for meals during term time at any of the Universities catering outlets.

Birmingham's new sports centre is planned to sit on the corner of Bristol Road and Edgbaston Park Road. It will be a large multi-sport facility for students, staff and the local community, and will include the city’s first 50-metre swimming pool. A new library will provide improved opportunities for community access to the vast University collection, and cultural heritage. The Student Services Hub will see part of the interior of the main Aston Webb Building remodelled to house a number of different services including employability, careers and a 400-seat lecture theatre.

The University is located five minutes from the heart of the city of Birmingham, a city with a heritage of multiculturalism and non-conformism, with campuses in the Edgbaston and Selly Oak areas of the city of Birmingham.
