Edith Cowan University (ECU)

Đại học Edith Cowan (ECU) được thành lập vào năm 1982, là một trường đại học công lập của Úc đặt tại Perth, Tây Úc. ECU được đặt tên sau khi người phụ nữ đầu tiên được bầu vào Quốc hội Úc, Edith Cowan, và đây là trường đại học duy nhất ở Úc mà đặt theo tên một người phụ nữ. 

ECU có khoảng 20.000 sinh viên ở bậc đại học và sau đại học, trong đó có khoảng 4.000 sinh viên quốc tế đến từ hơn 90 quốc gia. 

ECU cung cấp hơn 400 khóa học tại hai cơ sở ở Joondalup và Mount Lawley. Ngoài ra, trường còn sở hữu một khuôn viên khu vực phía Tây Nam Bunbury (200 km về phía Nam của Perth), với một số các khóa học được cung cấp cho nghiên cứu ngoài trường (giáo dục từ xa). Hơn nữa, trường có quan hệ đối tác với một số cơ sở giáo dục nhằm thực hiện các chương trình và các khóa học ở nước ngoài. Năm 2010, Webometrics xếp Khoa Kinh doanh và Luật vào hạng 9 tại Úc. Chương trình MBA của trường đã được đánh giá năm sao trong cùng năm bởi Hiệp hội quản lý đại học của Úc.

On-campus accommodation is provided for students in self-catered apartments on all of our campuses. Villages are close to shops and sport and recreation facilities, and are easily accessible by public transport. The student villages cater for over 700 students and provide a modern, friendly environment. The majority of apartments support a six-bedroom configuration with shared kitchen, living facilities and 1-2 bathrooms.

The village on our Mount Lawley Campus has 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 bedroom apartments and is located just minutes from ECU facilities. The apartments are fully-furnished, with private bedrooms, large kitchens and spacious lounge areas, so you have plenty of space to hang out with friends and flatmates. Onsite facilities include a pool, cafe/convenience store, sound lounge, e-library, study zones and shared laundry. And Resident Assistants are on hand to organise events and activities for you, so there is plenty to do and lots of ways to meet new people.

ECU has three campuses in Western Australia, each offering a modern, vibrant location for study and learning. The campuses feature up-to-date facilities including wireless internet, 24-hour access to computer labs, libraries with open study spaces outside office hours and a safe environment for you to study in, either by yourself or with other students. The three campuses are:

1. Joondalup Campus
2. Mount Lawley Campus
3. South West Campus

The Joondalup Campus is the University's headquarters. Campus facilities include:

• The ECU Shops
• Commercial outlets like hairdresser, optometrist, food, cafes, taverns and etc
• Outdoor cinema screening Perth International Arts Festival

• Research Centers (Health and Wellness, Education, Electronic Engineering and ICT, Environment and Sustainability, Communications and Creative Arts, Social and Community, Business and Society, as well as Security, Law and Justice)

Perth is a coastal city in the South West region of West Australia, it is bordered by the Indian Ocean and the Darling Ranges. The warm sunny climate is perfect for sporting and other leisure activities. The campuses are easily accessible by bus, car, train, bike.
