Entry Requirements
For Domestic and those International students not required to complete the English Language Enhancement course, to be eligible for the award of Bachelor of Business (BBus), a student must acquire 240 credit points as prescribed below:
- complete 80 credit points for Year 1 level core courses
- complete 160 credit points for courses comprising:
- Legal Issues for Managers (or Real Estate and Property Development Law for students completing the Real Estate and Property Development award major)
- at least one 80 credit point Business award major
- 70 credit points comprising:
- a second Business award major (students completing two award majors will be given permission to substitute an elective course in the second major with the core program requirement Legal Issues for Managers)
- or a 60 credit point Business major and/or electives.
- complete no more than 100 credit points of courses at Year 1 level
- complete at least 60 credit points of courses at Year 3 level.
For International students required to complete the English Language Enhancement course
- complete 80 credit points for Year 1 level core courses and 10 credit points for the English Language Enhancement course Language and Communication for Business and Commerce
- complete 150 credit points for courses comprising:
- Legal Issues for Managers (or Real Estate and Property Development Law for students completing the Real Estate and Property Development award major)
- at least one 80 credit point Business award major
- 60 credit points comprising:
- a second Business award major (students completing two award majors must contact their Program Director for advice on progression)
- or a 60 credit point Business major and/or electives.
- complete no more than 100 credit points of courses at Year 1 level
- complete at least 60 credit points of courses at Year 3 level.
Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level and Type
- The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. This qualification is accredited as an AQF Level 7 - Bachelor Degree.
English Language Enhancement
- All undergraduate International students admitted from 2010 are required to complete an English Language Enhancement course unless specific criteria are met as specified in Section 1.2 of the Bachelor Degree Policy - Schedule 1: Requirement to Complete the English Language Enhancement Course.
