Entry Requirements
- Foundation in Art & Design or equivalent qualification; UEC (art & design stream). STPM and A-Levels students with appropriate art portfolio will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Interior Architecture in Context 1
- Historical development in architecture and its social cultural contexts
- The political, economic, social and technological influences on contemporary architecture in global contexts
- An introduction to basic research strategies and methods
- Developing the critical analytical skills through specific investigation in relation to interior architecture

Year 2
Integrated Design Principles
Organisation and space configuration:
- Develop strategies for a given building programme within a specific architecture envelope
- Develop design proposals concerning ergonomic needs, finishes and materials within a focused small-scale design project
Detailed Specification:
- Develop and design plan into a detailed proposal that addresses the design, detail, finishes and specifications of architectural and interior elements at appropriate level
- Conceptualising and relating ideas and expression of design solution
- Presentation and debate design proposals through appropriate visual, verbal, written and electronic techniques
Professional and Technical Studies
Professional Presentation:
Develop a professional CV and portfolio of work aligned to skills and techniques that the industry requires

Understanding of the principles and terminology of building construction and the consequences of the application of materials

Advanced Design Studies
- To undertake a synthesized research, critical debate and understanding of design philosophy
- To explore and develop design strategies to respond creatively through design proposals and site contexts
- To respond holistically to the architectural and environmental context design, building briefs, scheme design, and conceptual framework, cultural, social, political, and economic considerations and to reflect in detailed design

- Pengajian Malaysia
*All Malaysian students are required to take 3 MQA Compulsory Subjects that include Bahasa Kebangsaan A, Malaysian Studies, and Islamic Studies (for Muslims) or Moral Education (for non-Muslims). Malaysian students are required by MQA to pass all these 3 subjects to qualify for their awards. MQA Compulsory Subjects are optional for all International Students.
