Molecular Medicine is at the forefront of modern medical research, driving progress in disease diagnosis, management, and treatment. IMU’s Molecular Medicine programme is designed to equip students with essential skills and advanced training in molecular and disease-oriented research. Under the mentorship of IMU’s esteemed faculty, who are experts in molecular sciences, students will engage in extensive research using IMU’s state-of-the-art facilities. IMU’s academic community actively contributes to global research advancements, with faculty members presenting at international conferences and publishing findings in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.  

The programme follows a credit-based modular curriculum, allowing students the flexibility to choose the number of modules per semester. It is available in both conventional and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) modes, enabling students to complete the programme within a flexible timeframe of up to four years. This structure supports working professionals in balancing studies with career and personal commitments. The curriculum is meticulously designed to meet the evolving demands of Molecular Medicine, preparing graduates for career advancement as research scientists in academia, research institutions, clinical settings, and the biomedical industry worldwide. Additionally, the programme serves as a foundation for pursuing a PhD at IMU or other institutions.  

IMU’s collaboration with Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) facilitates seamless module transfers from the MSc in Molecular Medicine at IMU to the MSc in Genomic Medicine at QMUL. Learning at IMU is conducted through both face-to-face and ODL modes, while QMUL modules are delivered via ODL. The research project for the MSc in Genomic Medicine can be completed at either IMU or QMUL under joint supervision. Students will also benefit from IMU’s extensive research collaborations with partner universities, as well as local and international research institutions, in areas such as cancer, bioactive molecules, nutrition, environmental health, and stem cell research.

Yêu cầu về học thuật

• Một bằng cử nhân hoặc tương đương của nó từ những lĩnh vực liên quan với điểm CGPA từ 2,50 trở lên
• Một bằng cử nhân hoặc tương đương của nó từ những lĩnh vực liên quan với điểm CGPA dưới 2.50 nhưng trên 2,00 và có ít nhất 3 năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực liên quan có thể được xem xét.

Yêu cầu tiếng Anh

• Tất cả học sinh thường được yêu cầu cung cấp bằng chứng về khả năng của họ trong ngôn ngữ tiếng Anh để học tập tại IMU.
• Các yêu cầu về trình độ tiếng Anh chuẩn là điểm thường tổng thể của IELTS 6.5 hoặc TOEFL 550 (PBT) hoặc 79 (IBT) hoặc MUET là 4
