Entry Requirements
- This course is suitable for students aged 19 and over. Ideally you should have a Level 2 Maths and English qualification and some knowledge or interest in engineering.
- All applicants will be assessed on their levels of English and Maths as well as sitting a basic Engineering Maths assessment at interview.
Curriculum
The course modules are Engineering Maths, Science, Civil Engineering and Study Skills.
The Civil Engineering units cover Health and Safety to surveying the condition of a property, as well as looking at the Built Environment and Sustainability.
Certain Universities may require you to have GCSE Maths and/or English to meet their entry requirements. You will be given the opportunity to study for these pending successfully passing the GCSE entry assessment. Functional Skills is also an option to achieve a Maths and English qualification which some universities accept.
