About
A wide range of topics are covered in the Diploma in Mass Communication curriculum, including advertising, public relations, radio, television, social media, and print, online, and broadcast journalism. Organised project-based learning and internship programs bring the industry into the classroom and give students the chance to engage and collaborate directly with the industries they will be working in in the future. Students who complete this multi-pathway program are prepared for both a fulfilling career and future study in degree programs both domestically and abroad.
Upon completion of a Diploma in Mass Communication, students can pursue a Bachelor of Communication (BComm) in Global Media Communication or a BComm in Journalism through the International Progress Pathway at Murdoch University in Australia. Alternatively, students can choose from BComm in Strategic Communication or BComm in Web Communication at Murdoch University, with pathways available in the United Arab Emirates and Singapore. Further options include Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, such as BA Journalism and Criminology, BA Journalism and Literature, BA Journalism and Politics, BA Journalism and Sociology, BA Journalism with Human Rights, and BA Media and Digital Culture. Finally, students can pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Mass Communication at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom.
